Message: Great web site guys, I am a lover of Australian Kelpies I find it so frustrating that so many of these dogs are given up at such a young age because of people not giving them enough time and training. Yes they can be very difficult to deal with at times because of their abundance of energy, but if you put in the time and effort to doing so you will have such a great mate for life. I wish people did more research into the breed before buying. I have grown up having Kelpies all my life 12months ago I lost my beautiful boy Ned, but have now replaced him with my gorgeous girl Bindi. Now I have found this site I will keep my eye out for a friend for Bindi.
Keep up the fantastic work guys.

Message: What a fantastic site!!! You should be so proud of yourselves and keep up the good work. Working breeds are often so misunderstood and end up in the wrong homes. My border collie is the most sensitive, sweet creature I've ever met & the thought of all of these dogs ending up in pounds is heartbreaking. I hope all working breed lovers come to this site to find their next pooch instead of breeders and pet shops - how could you not find one here?

Message: What a great site. I hope lots of BCs find wonderful homes this way. My old girl Kahlia and her non-BC mates send lots of positive energy to all dogs looking for a home as wonderful as ours. BCs rule OK?

Message: The most absolute beautiful German Coolie is at the Animal Welfare League, Stapylton shelter. He is 14 months and a mix of browns (also lilac) and whites. He is drop dead gorgous, and I would love to take him home, but right now, unfortuantely, is not the right time for a second dog. My heart aches for the poor boy, so hopefully one of you Coolie lovers, or some other passionate person, will give him a loving home. He looks like a great boy! If there is anyone interested in him, he can be rehomed interstate, and if someone would like me to meet with him and give you personal feedback about him, I am willing to do so, as he is only 30 minutes away from me! Could he also please maybe be featured on this great site!

Message: I just wanted to thank the dedicated people who run this site.
I myself work at the Animal Welfare League and know just how many dogs go through the doors of pounds and rescue shelters each year.
It is a sad thing, but their lives are made better by sites such as this.
I often use this site, even just to check up on the process of certain dogs, or see what dogs are around Australia.
This site is especially important to me as Border Collies, Cattles, Kelpies and Koolies are my favourite types of dogs.
I think it's great to have breed specific sites, as it assists people who are looking for dogs in an amazing way.Keep up all the wonderful work!
Also, if anyone knows of any Koolie pups that are in shelters in or near QLD, could they please give me a shout. I am looking to adopt a Koolie pup at the end of this year/early next year. You can contact me on
earth_junk_culture@hotmail.com!
Cheers.

Message: I found heaven today!! You all should be commended for the time and love you give these precious animals however temporary that may be. My heart breaks for these beautiful, gorgeous dogs who may never find a loving home to go to.For the lucky ones, I hope they live life to the full.I feel guilty for not being able to take them all home and seeing their due date brings me to tears. I lost my Puppy Indii for a couple of hours and my heart sank. They bring so much more to our lives than we give credit for. We should do the same for them. As soon as I can I will be helping save a life. Luv them all!!!

Message: Hi,just came across your fantastic website today. I am so upset about the number of beautiful animals who are looking for their own forever home. I pray for all of them. I lost my wonderful kelpie X back in March 2008 and now have adopted an older BC X. Will keep this site in mind if I decide to get another "fur"kid. You are doing a fabulous service and I take my hat off to you and all other organisations trying to help lost ones find a new home.

Message: Thankyou so much for the work you all do on this website. We lost our much love border collie "Kye" right before xmas. He was our best friend / family pet and did not deserve to have to die at 7. I stumbled onto this website in one of my tear filled nights and found "Toby" listed. A lost and in much of a need for a family home. He has filled a hole left and not one day passes that I don't think of all the other dogs we passed while picking him up from the pound. May they all find happy and loving homes like our Toby has...

Message: Thank you so much for this wonderful site.I have recently adopted a 2 1/2 year old Border Collie from Mildura pound. He is an absolute delight and our 6th B.C.Apparently he has been in this pound twice in his short life and one would have to wonder why.I just wish people wouldn't take on dogs when they can dispose of them so easily and often without very convincing reasons.I hope that many more dogs will be rescued because of your commitment to this website. We are truly thankful to have our lovely boy and promise to give him all the love and care he deserves.

Message: What a wonderful site! I already have a 9yo border collie (whom I love like a child) and am not in a position to get any more at the moment, although here's the first place I'll come when I can. I can't believe the people who dump these dogs! When you get a dog, you know that you've got to be committed for at least 12 years. I would never give up my baby girl, and if it meant that I couldn't travel or work elsewhere then I just wouldn't go. I'll definitely come back to this site when we are able to build on our 2 1/2 acre property and look at expanding my doggie family!! Keep up the great work...
