Message: What a wonderful site! I already have a 9yo border collie (whom I love like a child) and am not in a position to get any more at the moment, although here's the first place I'll come when I can. I can't believe the people who dump these dogs! When you get a dog, you know that you've got to be committed for at least 12 years. I would never give up my baby girl, and if it meant that I couldn't travel or work elsewhere then I just wouldn't go. I'll definitely come back to this site when we are able to build on our 2 1/2 acre property and look at expanding my doggie family!! Keep up the great work...

I would just like to say I have only found out about your fantastic site today, I am slightly embarrassed also. I am a foster carer and Temperament Tester at Canberra Pound and I was overjoyed today to find out that Roscoe a beautiful Kelpie boy was adopted an hour before he was due to be euthanised because of this great site.

Message: hi all thanku for the responds i now have my puppy bak home. he was locked in a neighbours yard. hes had a big feed and water. massive bath,took him for a walk,now hes sleeping the day away. i was so sad,when i got up this morning,and he wasn t there in the yard. i know what its like when u lose something that is so dear to u. awesum site. kia ora all, will stay in touch.

Message: This is a gorgeous website. I'm the owner of a 16yo Border Collie who I got from the pound when he was only 8 months old.He has been a huge part of my life and has given me so much back.I think this has been his way of repaying me from adopting him many years ago. Keep up the good work.

Message: So sad that dogs are 'dumped' We have just had our 14yo border collie die and we are devastated. We will,hopefully, own one in the new year 2009.
